Friends’ Quaker Meeting House, Rutland

Brief:

Tasked with significantly improving the electrical fittings at the Friends’ Quaker Meeting House in Oakham – one of the town’s oldest buildings, the project required that we work with the restrictions placed on a listed building of this age and historic importance.

Solution:

Our approach was to first remove all existing electrical wiring, lighting and heading and from here we undertook a complete re-wire and installed new electrical fittings. This included installing efficient electrical heating, an electric hot water system along with LED lighting, using CLS-LED Luxo 6.

Outcome:

This 18th century building now boasts an up-to-date electrical system that fit with the needs of users and the demands placed upon the building. With the project well planned and organised, the work was completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
